Documents to be provided for the convertible visa application:
In order to complete your application, you should already have prepared all the following documents:
- Convertible long-stay visa application form duly completed, dated and signed (to be downloaded from the Embassy website)
- 01 recent identity photo (to be glued on the application form);
- An original passport in current validity with an expiry date more than 6 months after the return date. It must contain at least two free pages when the file is submitted.
- Retirement certificate / Retirement notification
- Opening of a bank account in Madagascar
- Bank certificate of an international transfer by the retirement fund or by an external bank with a minimum amount of € 500 / month
- NB: The certificate of an international transfer issued by a bank in Madagascar is not acceptable.
- Criminal record extract Bulletin N°3 (less than 3 months original)
- Certificate of change of residence issued by the town hall in France (A declaration on honour or a certificate signed by the person concerned and stamped by the Town Hall is not acceptable)
- A copy of the round-trip flight ticket 1 month or a modifiable ticket
- Fee: €32 (By cheque payable to the Embassy of Madagascar or in cash to be paid only at the Accounting Department of the Embassy)
